BACKGROUND

Personality [25 word minimum]: Takeru suffers from a Depersonalization Disorder as well as Arrhythmia. He can be quite a happy, bubbly person at times, but whenever his mood swings and/or the depersonalization kicks in, he can have a complete turnaround and be unapproachable and nasty or depressed and emotional.
History [50 word minimum]: Takeru was born into a small family, consisting of only himself, and his mother. His father had died when his mother was only a few months pregnant. When he was seven, his mother got re-married. They were quite poor, and Takeru was often left alone at home, when he wasn't at school, while his mother worked as she couldn't afford a babysitter. Fortunately, when his mother remarried, with 2 incomes instead of one, things became better.
However, things took a turn for the worst when his step-father began to abuse his mother. Eventually, the abuse also turned to Takeru. That was when the first signs of Depersonalization began to appear. After a particularly nasty case of abuse when he was 10, he was admitted to hospital later that night with bruises, cuts, broken bones and internal bleeding. His step-father was sent to prison and is still there now. The depersonalization started to get worse afterwards and he was eventually diagnosed with the disorder when he was 12.
His school days were horrible. He was an outcast, both for his erratic mood swings and his odd fashion sense. He was bullied, picked on and beat up repeatedly, which only made him worse. He received treatment for his mood swings and depersonalization, panic and arrhythmitic attacks, and had been seeing psychiatrists since after the incident with his father.
Now that his mother is working full-time again, and can barely look after herself, never mind Takeru as well, he is now attending Kurayami. He's dreading attending the school, having heard the reputation and being around so many other people almost constantly. He prefers being on his own more than anything.

And any school news could be posted there, by the Dean (whoever that ends up being), teachers, etc, and info on all the school clubs/activities could be posted there too by the teachers/students who run them, just so when people join they'll know what clubs there are and what days/times they're on ^___^
