But he isn't always so bad, he also has his fun-loving party animal side that he lets loose on occasion.

Taka grew up with an abusive father and a mother who was always crying. He grew to hate his father and vowed to protect his mother. When he was a teenager, he got into a pretty vicious fight with his father due to him beating on his mom. That was when he got sent to Kurayami.
He doesn't talk about his family if he can help it. He prefers to keep quiet about most personal things, really.
