Past that, he is a very genuine and kind person, tending to wear more dark colors, suits and things of that sort. Tends to get quiet in situations where very specific attention is being paid to him. Sings impromptu lyrics to himself when he thinks noone is listening.
History [50 word minimum]: Ruki grew up in a fairly normal home, but began rebelling at a very early age, starting his smoking habit at age 11. He was always sneaking out, carrying weapons to school knowing he shouldn't, and generally being a bad brat.
As he got older, he wised up, but even after that, he couldn't undo what had been done. The relationship with his parents now is...strained, but he will visit for a birthday or holiday, and write in between visits.
Became a teacher because he wanted to keep others from repeating his mistake

He had gotten he call a few days ago, and he was still buzzing about it. He had no idea why, but he was excited as hell to get to this school, begin molding young minds, all those reasons he became a teacher in the first place.
He kind of knew what he was getting into, he knew that there were kids there that cut themselves, cut others, did drugs at some point, the list went on. But then again, Ruki's halo was more than a little crooked and rusted. Who was he to judge?
